In India, medical science is expanding its growth, and this has led to many new hospitals in country and better health for citizens, because of this demand for nurses in India is increasing very fast, there is good opportunities for people who wants career in nursing.

Nursing jobs in India are recognized as registered nursing, licensed practical nursing or licensed vocational nurses, and nursing assistant. Nursing jobs is available all over the country.

Health sector in India is an extremely busy sector. New hospitals and nursing homes are coming up in all corners of the country. So, along with paramedics and doctors there is a rise in demand for nursing jobs in India.

The raise in demand is for both type of nurses i.e. male nurse and female nurse. However demand for male nurse is higher than female. Many boys are now a days trying their career in male nursing jobs, because this sector i.e. Staff Nurse Jobs have steady growth and will always be in demand.

Nursing jobs in India are recognized as registered nursing (RN), licensed practical nursing or licensed vocational nurses (LPN/LVN), and nursing assistant. Registered nurses are professional nurses. They supervise the work done by licensed vocational nurses and nursing assistants. Licensed vocational nurses provide basic care under the guidance of a doctor, registered nurse, or a nurse practitioner.

A registered nurse is a full time nurse. Hospital, office, and home nursing, offer full-time nursing jobs. Of the various nursing jobs, contract nursing is slowly becoming the most liked registered nursing career opportunity. If you like a stable position in one location, full-time nursing job is always the best choice. Travel nursing jobs and part-time nursing are best suited for those who enjoy traveling and variety in the work place. All these nursing jobs in India offer competitive pay and free housing.

The duty of a nurse is regularly scheduled on a forty hour week in a seven day period. The schedule may include an eighty hour week in a fourteen day period, or one hundred sixty hours of duty in a four week period. Part time nurses have to work a minimum of twenty hours in a seven-day period and are eligible for salaries and benefits.

The best thing about nursing jobs in India is that the jobs are available all over the country. Whether it is towns, villages or cities nurses have plenty of openings. Trained nurses can even get a chance to serve abroad.
