In a field like SAP consulting, as per my experience , u need lot of technical skills. practical technical skills ,. knowledge on business process as u need to understand the business terminology from the functional consultants like PO , Credit memo, debit memo etc and how they impact business etc..
Apart from that , client communication is very much important. Client doesnt need how many certifications u ve did , but he need good communication skills. if u are really such good at programming skills try in SAp labs, if u want to get into SAP . Even they do check communication.

Hi,

I have just finished MBA(systems) distance education.I have about 4 years of experience in web development.I have taken a break for abt 6 years sabbatical(after my sons birth).Will doing ABAP give me a good break when I look out for a job in July/august?

hey my name is AL. The thing is I have heard from quite a few people that it is extremely difficult to get job in the SAP abap field for engineering freshers without any work experience even if they have completed abap training. How true is this?
what is the salary range for a person who has been working in the SAP field for 5 years. In companies like wipro,cognizant,etc.

Hi,
I just completed my B-Tech in Computer Science with 68% marks. I’m certified in SCJP and .NET programming. I’m interested in SAP programming and looking for a career in it. I’m one of the best programmers in college, but not much well in communication especially in English. Is it possible for me to shine in SAP? Where can I find good affiliated SAP training center in KY? Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone, I have done my certification in SAP ABAP. I would like to know about the starting package. I have done B.E and I’m still a fresher. There is one company which is offering me 1.3L per annum in Wipro InfoTech. I’m however unsatisfied with this proposal. Shall I go for it? Please Help.
