Sports in India, is at last getting the attention it deserves. Many jobs are opening up in this field. Primary among these jobs is the job of a coach. With the development of sports several sports academies have come up throughout the length and breath of the country. These institutes select and train talent in specific games. All these institutes offer various openings to specialists in sports. Apart from training institutes you can also find openings in various sporting clubs and sports teams of government departments.

MRF has set up a pace foundation in Chennai to train sports persons. The Tata Football Academy, Kolkata, hones young soccer talents. Sports Authority of India (SAI) has started several schemes to provide the correct facilities for talents. In these universities you can do bachelors and master’s degree courses in sports medicine, physical education, and research in sports. Other institutes that provide education in sports include, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, Punjab University, Chandigarh, University of Calcutta, Banglaore University, Benares Hindu University and University of Delhi.
